This amazing house lacked only a quality kitchen.

A tiny kitchen was gutted, had walls removed & was remodeled to suit the needs of new owners.

Inexpensive field tile offset a pricey tile deco.

A Bertazzoni Range from Italy is a key element within this focal point cooking center.

The right cabinet finish helped brighten the room.

Judicious use of space allowed for two prep centers for this newlywed couple who both like to cook.

The contemporary stainless steel fridge contrasts with the original oak hutch that was kept in place

A key challenge was achieving seating for two and integrating the old and new into a unique look.

Hall space from garage to kitchen was maximized.

Squeezing in a landing zone at the microwave outside of the main work area maximized limited space.

Virtually every square inch was used including space in front of a living room built-in.

Paneling hides storage for sheet music in the living room which includes a built-in organ too.

Tilt out trays & a chalk board were installed to the backside of the living room sheet music cabinet

The music storage box projects into the kitchen but we found a way to make the most of it.

A Shaw fireclay farmhouse sink is complimented by a Rohl bridge faucet in polished nickel.

The original maid's buzzer was repaired and reinstalled to keep true to the home's era.

montgomery0136.jpg
The powder room adjacent to the kitchen was partially gutted and redone with a modified floor plan.

Moving the radiator to the side wall and installing a corner lav fixed the layout issues.

A custom radiator box was built onsite to mimic architectural details found elsewhere in the house.
